This song is about having an inner battle. It's about finding who you really are, and nearly destroying yourself in the process. About not knowing who you are, and hating yourself for the different parts of you.
Am I a monster? A dreamer? A believer? A failure?
This song sums up my vampire, Erik, because he is struggling with himself very much so at the moment, with nothing but a mug of hot chocolate to help him.
