But, to me, the typical vampire is one that is like a coin. Depending on how it lands, heads or tails, they can be classy or bloodthirsty.
Everyone looks at the moonclan as classy elegant good-two shoes kind of things, but they've all kind of got knives behind their backs, or cards up their sleeves, or cash getting dealt under the table.. secretive, i suppose.

So I like the MoonClan to uphold vampire traditiosn of wearing elegant clothing..looking well put-together even if you're hungover, is a good way to put it. A messy looking Mooner [heh] is like looking at a caged wild animal. They must be nutters.

And I don't know.. I kind of look to Jared Leto for inspiration for the MoonClan. Even if he's acting like a total freaking idiot, he's just always.. idk.. cool. mysterious. you wanna figure this guy out. he's intense. And always looking .. classy. He can make a beat up jacket and old ragged pants look like they're the hit fashion, or he can look like he just stepped out from a twenties bar.

So I'm not saying that the mooners are real sneaky and devious, but if they DO do anything dirty, it's secret. A public face is always kept.

And as for the tradition things, I guess not being vulgar and phsyco about selecting victims is one of them. And and..

Well. I guess I need to post a list/scatterbrained-group of a "tradition" thing, cuz I don't want to get all frazzled putting it on here.

If you've ever read the Marked/Betrayed/Chosen books, Loren is how I pictured these fellas. Dark, seductive, classy.. that stranger you see in a coffee shop that you can't get out of your head. They don't say much, but they don't need to. A simple smile can say a million novels, and that's what's alluring about them.

They're like spiders, luring in flies..



But they're not freaks about it. A lot of them are like vegans -- they'll stick to animals, or they can be vegetarians, and only pick ONE victim, or they act real nice about it, and make it as less painful as possible.

You're probably thinking, "SilverClan! SilverClan!" but the Silver Clan is more centered on lust and desire and arrogance, whereas the MoonClan is more focused on temptation, kindness, and dark seduction..

But when they're not being all seductive etc when they're thirsty, the Mooners are generally happy, if not quiet creatures, with a taint of sadness. Many of them regret having to live the lifestyle they lead, and many are trying to find other things that will satisfy their hunger besides blood. Poor little Erik, for example, is trying to wean himself off of blood, and into hot chocolate.

I'm tired so maybe that didn't even answer your question.
But when you think vampire, that dark tempting picture that pops into your head is basically MoonClan.

Hope I answered it okay.. I'll probably wake up later today and be like "wtf am i on".

No i think you make perfect sense, thank you for explaining. I was just confused because when you said the classic vampire or whatever you didn't mean like dracula or summat from Van Helsing. (love that movie btw)
